This DVD really helped my grandson with sounds. He was slow to talk and now he makes all the sounds and loves to watch the video. He did go to speech therapy but the DVD seemed to help him more. He would go to his DVD box and bring it to us when he wanted to watch it. I felt he knew this was helping him develop communication skills. We all enjoy watching it over and over again. Our copy is scratched so we need another. We also have the VHS. He will get the VHS when he wants to watch it on the big screen. Ms. Sullivan is great. The sound of her voice is so pleasant and he likes watching her form the sounds with her mouth while the video is playing. I wish she were here in Lafayette. Thank you for helping our grandson.

Thank-you SpeechParade,
Isaac has a good number of DVD/Videos in his learning library and this is one of his favorites! When I played the DVD for the first time my sons face lit up with a big smile. He watches the program over and over and is interested in the content start to finish. Right away the staff at his Interact Program were impressed with his knowledge of animal sounds that he learned from Speech Parade. The DVD shipped and arrived in a timely manner. Speech Parade returned my phone call with questions within 24 hours. I look forward to purchasing their next DVD.

"My six year-old son and two year-old daughter really enjoy watching the Speech Parade! video. They love the real life images and age-appropriate sounds. Both my children love to name the animals & imitate the sounds. I feel it has really helped increase my daughter's spontaneous speech."

"My 22-month-old son really enjoys this video--he asks for it every day. The video clips are entertaining, he loves watching the kids, and after viewing it 3 or 4 times, he was already repeating back the sounds. If you enjoy Baby Einstein videos for your toddler, then you are sure to like Speech Parade."

“We were so pleased with how vocally active our son became after watching the Speech Parade video. He is in speech and occupational therapy, but watching the video seems to stimulate him like nothing else. He watches and mimics parts of the video with such enthusiasm that his therapists have asked us what we are doing. Of course we are doing many things to help him with his speech, but the Speech Parade video has had a very dramatic impact on his progress.
My wife and I believe the video is so successful with our son because it holds his attention with real-life, age appropriate images and because the speech is visually modeled by real people. We haven’t seen another video like it and highly recommend this one for children learning to speak.”

"After viewing the DVD once daily for 2 weeks my 20 month old's imitation and spontaneous speech increased! Within 3 weeks he began putting 2 words together. I feel that Speech Parade was needed stimulatiuon especially after 3 months of ear infections. Speaking as not only a mother, but also a professional, I can't wait for the next Speech Parade production!"

“Speech Parade holds my child’s attention from beginning to end. He loves the variety of different sounds. Barbara’s voice, accompanied by the actual animals and events in the video makes my son want to imitate every sound he heard. He also enjoyed the children who made the sounds with him in the video.
I, as a parent, found the parenting tips to be easy to understand and helpful in everyday life. I think this video would be a compliment to anyone trying to teach their children language skills.”
